Grooming Authorization

"I authorize Canine Cuts to perform the grooming services discussed for my dog. I understand grooming involves clippers, scissors, dryers, brushes, nail trimmers, restraints, and other professional grooming equipment, and that minor nicks, irritation, scratches, or nail bleeding can occasionally occur."*

Matting Release

"I understand that severe matting may require clipping or shaving for my dog's comfort and safety. I understand matting can hide skin irritation, sores, bruising, parasites, or other conditions, and that additional fees may apply for excessive matting."*

Behavior and Safety

I understand the Canine Cuts may modify or stop grooming if my dog becomes overly stressed, aggressive, or unsafe to continue grooming."*

Senior/Medical Pets

"I understand that grooming can be stressful for senior dogs and dogs with medical conditions, and that services may be modified or stopped if my dog shows signs of distress."*

Emergency Veterinary Authorization

"If a medical emergency occurs and I cannot be reached, I authorize Canine Cuts to seek veterinary care for my dog. I understand I am responsible for veterinary expenses unless otherwise required by law."*

Pricing

"I understand that final grooming prices may vary depending on coat condition, matting, excessive undercoat, size, temperament, hand scissoring, and additional time required."*

Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

"I understand the Canine Cuts requires at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If less than 24 hours' notice is provided, I will be responsible for 50% of scheduled grooming service price, and this fee must be paid before another appointment can be scheduled. I understand that exceptions may be made at the discretion of Canine Cuts in the event of an emergency."*

Pickup & Late Fee Policy

Canine Cuts will make every effort to provide approximately 30 minutes' notice before your dog is expected to be finished so you have time to plan for pickup.

Clients are expected to pick up their dog when grooming is complete. If the dog is not picked up within reasonable time after the scheduled completion time, a late pickup fee of $1 per minute may be charged until the dog is picked up.
